Dashboards from public data sources
Central banks, statistics offices and other open APIs. tlly fetches them on the schedule you set. Some of them are open; some ask for a free key.
What you can point it at
- No key. Norges Bank's exchange rates, and many statistics-office files that are just a URL. The NOK/EUR tracker is one of these.
- A free key you create. FRED and EIA publish a free API key. Store it as a secret bound to that host; tlly sends it only there. The key is yours, not an approval tlly applies for.
- Any other JSON or CSV URL the internet can reach, including one you publish yourself.
Jobs run on the schedule you set, not the minute a figure is published. A series that then stops receiving new points alerts you once.
