Stripe dashboards and alerts

Chart Stripe numbers on a live dashboard with green, yellow and red targets, refreshed on schedule, with an email or webhook alert when one crosses a line. Slack and Discord incoming webhooks get a short message.

What you can watch

• Available and pending balance, every day
• Recent charges, refunds and disputes counted per day (accounts with up to about 100 a day)
• MRR, churn and NRR: push them from your billing code or keep them in a Sheet, and tlly watches the line

Connect with a read-only key

1. Open the Stripe Dashboard → Developers → API keys.
2. Click Create restricted key and name it “tlly (read only)”.
3. Set Read on Charges, Customers, Subscriptions, Invoices, Balance and Disputes; leave everything else at None.
4. Create the key and copy it (it starts with rk_live_).

A restricted key with only Read permissions can't create charges, refunds or payouts. Never paste a secret key (sk_live_). Keys are encrypted at rest and only ever sent to Stripe. Stripe docs

Then ask:

Use the STRIPE_KEY secret to chart the available Stripe balance each day. For MRR or churn, chart the column in our KPI sheet or the number we push.
