Google Ads

Send Ads numbers to the Sheets template with a script. The Ads API is not a tlly job.

What you can track

Spend, clicks, impressions and conversions, once a Google Ads script (or a scheduled export) writes one row per day into the KPI sheet. Add columns if Revenue is not the right name; tell tlly the header you used.

tlly will not call the Google Ads API. That API is OAuth, a developer token, and a customer id, and the reporting calls are not a plain GET this playbook can hand to a secret. Those details were not re-verified endpoint by endpoint because the supported path is the sheet.

Credential

None in tlly. The script runs inside the user’s Google account.

Where to get it

Google Ads → Tools → Bulk actions → Scripts, or the scripts guide linked above. The script writes the sheet. Then publish or share the sheet as the Sheets playbook says.

The scripts “start” page was confirmed to exist as Google’s official scripts docs. The exact menu labels inside Ads were not re-clicked for this playbook; if the UI has moved, follow that doc.

tlly job

The Sheets job, value set to the column the script fills (for example Spend).

Gotchas

Alert ideas

Red when yesterday’s spend is above the daily cap. Yellow when conversions are zero while spend is not.

Verification

Supported path is the sheet, from this repo. Google Ads script docs: the start URL above. No Ads API URL, scope or GAQL is claimed.
