Linear dashboards and alerts

Chart Linear numbers on a live dashboard with green, yellow and red targets, refreshed on schedule, with an email or webhook alert when one crosses a line. Slack and Discord incoming webhooks get a short message.

• Issues created per day for one team (first page of results)
• Open bugs by priority, after the preview shows a priority field

Connect with a read-only key

1. In Linear open Settings → Account → Security & access.
2. Under Personal API keys click New API key, name it “tlly”.
3. Choose Read access (and limit it to the teams you want to chart, if offered).
4. Copy the key (it starts with lin_api_).

A key with Read access can't create or change issues. Keys are encrypted at rest and only ever sent to Linear. Linear docs

Then ask:

Use the LINEAR_KEY secret to chart issues created per day from Linear. The first page of results is the whole fetch.
